As a local resident for more than 50 years, David has personally witnessed the growth of the Coachella Valley; it is the history of our valley that is near and dear to his heart. When the opportunity arose to purchase the iconic "round building" in Rancho Mirage, David knew that he wanted to bring its history and original purpose back to life! The building was originally home to Noel Birns Interior Design, who later partnered with Steven DeChristopher Interiors, Inc., who was one of the original designers that gave Palm Springs its distinctive look.

David reminiscing about the building expressed his nostalgia, "When I was a child in the early 1970's, I fondly remember walking into this building with my parents. Noel Burns had done the interior design of our Palm Springs home, including my old childhood bedroom. At the time, there was nothing around the building which made it really stand out. This building, its history really made quite an impact on me."
